It is vital that those of you who still don't know where food on the grocery shelf comes from, to go ahead and find out now. And while you are at it, also find out where your water comes from.

It is time to boycott corn based ethanol. A clear message must be sent to the government and ethanol producers that driving machines around on our food source is unacceptable. It is depleting our corn and water supplies at an alarming rate. Don't believe me? Visit any town that has an ethanol production facility, sit down the road from the entrance and watch how many tons of bushels of corn are delivered per day. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. I've done this myself, and I was astonished and then the concern set in....like, "Oh S_ _ T, trouble is looming on the horizon of the worlds future." Driving around, fueled by past, dead civilizations, dinosaurs, sea beds and forests is bad, but this driving around on our fresh corn and water is insanity.

If you are able to do so, NOW is the time to plan a garden. After last frost, turn some dirt over, stir it up, plop some seed (corn, carrots, pumpkins, beans, peas etc.) in some rows or "hills"...water it, unless you are fortunate to have rain as a helper, baby it, sing to it, and may you have a bumper crop to harvest.

Hang on, cause we are in for one hell of a wild ride.
Blessings, Prairyearth
