In and Out the Window

Continued conversations and happenings from the dream realm

...just got back from Montana and Denver. Crazy, aye, but a welcome break from this mornings scene out the window.

...I was going by the window, and the light coming in was so dim. So, I looked out the southern window to check it out and did a double take. At first I thought "tornado!" But, no, something was different, so I went outside to check it out. It wasn't a natural tornado at all, but something much more menacing. (is that possible?) The only way to describe it is, as a man made stationary vortex looming skyward in the South and blocking the sun, casting shadow on my gardens in the North. It seemed to be made of lodge poles and was built in a circle. Not like a tee pee, but a cylindrical object looming skyward. There was no way of removing it at this time.

Reminds me of the time that... Karol Wojtyła (Pope John Paul II) came to dinner. The "Sisters" were working frantically to make a good meal worthy of "his holiness," and there was great fussings and goings on. I heard a baby crying, but no one would go see what the problem was with it. The parents forgot it's bottle didn't want to disturb his holiness to go get something to feed the child. So I told everyone that I don't care who is coming to dinner, babies and children come first and must be fed, so I excused myself and went in search of formula to feed the baby.

After I returned the sisters, pope and I all sat down and had a meal together. After we ate, there was a strained silence as the sisters cleared the table. I looked at John Paul II sitting across the table from me and wondered if he were truly open to spiritual discussion. He looked at me and smiled.

...Then all the sisters and pope and I were sleeping in the same bedroom together. The sisters were all sleeping in one bed and the pope and I were sleeping in the other bed. (no people, no hanky panky going on. He was on his side and I was on my side. Sort of like the old cliché "you made your bed, now go lay in it," only we were on opposite sides. Anyway, as we were sleeping, I heard a noise that jolted me out of my slumber and I sat straight up in bed. Then, I heard it again, and this time, it woke Wojtyla, and he also sat straight up, then he got out of bed and went to the window to look out. I said "It's out there and it's coming isn't it," all he could do was nod his head in affirmation.
