Good morning Ghostchildren. The following may have already been posted here, but I thought I had better bring it to the fire anyway. It may shed some light on Ghostchild role in the changing world. Basically, I see this as a possible opportunity for the Original Peoples "Nations" to attain sovereignty in their home lands. If this is old news here, I ask Prairyearth to delete this article. While most people think of history as something that happened before
"their time," many fail to understand that each one of us is in the
process of watching history in the making and living it. Most fail to
recognize the slow political and economic evolution to move the United
States into a hemispheric free trade zone like that of the European
Union.
Unlike the European Union's integration which was given great fanfare
in
the media with Europeans entering into a contest to name the new
combined currency, the integration of the United States with the other
countries of this hemisphere is subject to a major media blackout. Do
they fear the masses? Are they concerned they will wake up and scream
"NO, NOT IN MY BACK YARD!"? Do they possibly think there might be
another tea party? Whatever it is, no one in major media wants to tell
the masses that their country and constitution is in the shredder.
Unfortunately, it is not just the major media, but our own elected
representatives who are not explaining what they are doing to bring
about the demise of America.
Because the media has not specifically reported in headline from the
steps that have been taken since 1992 to integrate the first three
countries: Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, most Americans think that it
does not exist. What will these very naive people do when they realize
all of the 33 countries of this hemisphere, with the exception of
Cuba,
are being merged into a free trade zone called the Free Trade Areas of
the Americas? Like the European Union, we will have a common currency,
we will have a regional central bank (the Federal Reserve), and we
eventually will have a regional parliament with locally elected
representatives to it.
Is regionalism a new thing? No. When the United Nations was set up in
1945, they established regional commissions for the entire world. Ours
is called the Economic Commission for Latin America and the
Caribbean-ECLAC. While NAFTA is the first step to complete hemispheric
integration, in 1994 when NAFTA was entered into force, the Clinton
Administration called for a meeting of the presidents and prime
ministers of the other 32 countries of this hemisphere in December to
discuss integration.
Today, as a result of the elimination of duties on U.S. goods and the
gradual phasing out of other tariffs over a 14 year period, three way
trade between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico has doubled to over $623B.
Furthermore, numerous agreements have been put in place regarding
electricity, biodiversity, labor and worker's rights. The NAFTA
Secretariat is comprised of the three parts: the Canadian Section in
Ottawa, the Mexican Section in Mexico City and the U.S. Section in
Washington, D. C. The NAFTA parties are "committed to the successful
conclusion of the Free Trade Areas of the Americas-FTAA [which will]
build on the existing free trade agreements and on the expanding links
that the NAFTA countries have elsewhere in the hemisphere."
When I covered the second FTAA meeting in Santiago, Chile, I witnessed
via a television monitor in the press room, the 34 Western Hemisphere
heads of state sign a document that will integrate our countries into
a
new free trade zone. Then when I covered the follow-up meeting in
Quebec, they signed another document. What I realized is that they
were
signing a new "Constitution" for the 21st Century".
State Department document No. 10536 disseminated at the second meeting
called, Words into Deeds Progress since the Miami Summit quoted
Clinton,
For the first time ever, we established an architecture for
hemispheric relations from the Artic circle in the north to Argentina
in
the south. We created a work plan from which the democratic
governments
of the Americas could be judged by their people. We established a
follow-up process to ensure that the decisions we reached at the
Summit
would be carried out. In order to implement these initiatives, the 34
ministers representing labor, transportation, finance, justice,
energy,
telecommunications, science and technology, education, anti-crime
initiatives, trade and commerce, and health and human services, have
been meeting and working together since 1994 to create a new
infrastructure for the integrated structure of our countries.
The second installment of the on-going hemispheric integration
occurred
on July 27, 2005 when Congress passed the Central American Free Trade
Agreement-CAFTA which will eliminate barriers to trade and investment
among the countries of Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El
Salvador,
Guatemala, Honduras, and the United States. CAFTA eliminates all
tariffs
on 80% of U.S. manufactured goods, with the balance to be phased out
over the next few years. To get Republican legislators to vote for
CAFTA, Bush allowed the earmarking of $24.2B to the 2005
transportation
bill dubbed SAFETEU-LU to persuade hold-outs to sell the sovereignty
of
their country. It appears that the countries of Latin America will and
are coming in one by one so that by the time Congress decides they
should make this legal, all they will do is catch up to actions. So
what
will it mean that the United States is now part of this regional
integration?
First, we need to understand that regional integration is the complete
demise of the United States of America as we know it. Our currency
will
be replaced by the Amero, the coming regional currency; our federal
level of Congress will be demoted to the level of a state legislator
as
the coming regional parliament will supersede our "local congress";
our
laws will be the same as the other 33 countries in this hemisphere and
the rules and regulations by which we will abide will not be from the
Constitution. Furthermore, we will have one flag, one anthem, one
government, and one Court of Justice.
[Explanation: It's already in progress. You will notice,
that for the past 30 years or so the US dollar has been taking a
metamorphous. It's becoming colorized as the Canadian Dollar and the
Mexican Peso. How will they pull this off? They will create a huge
crises, then offer the solution to the dumbed down masses. The new
currency will save the day. People will buy the lie hook line and
sinker. Everyone in the main stream press and the political realm is
aware of this. Only the people are in the dark.] Lastly, although we
are
the most powerful and largest country in this hemisphere, we will be
outvoted by the 13 Commonwealth countries located in this hemisphere.
Say what? Let us discuss for the moment the Commonwealth of Nations.
Operating within the United Nations are the 54 countries of the
Commonwealth which is headed up by the Queen of England. According to
Wikipedia.org, "the commonwealth of nations is a voluntary association
of independent states, mostly formed by the United Kingdom and its
former colonies." Countries that "acknowledge the British monarch as
head of state are known as Commonwealth Realms", while all members
recognize Queen Elizabeth II as Head of the Commonwealth. The
Commonwealth is the successor of the (old) British Empire and has its
origins in the Imperial Conferences of the 1920s."
When the United Nations was formed in 1945, Canada, New Zealand, and
the
United Kingdom-UK had three votes. At that time, the UK was comprised
of
52 countries. As they de-colonized between 1946 and 1989, the UK spun
off 42 countries. The UK currently has a number of associated states,
external territories, and dependencies. However, every time they spun
off a country and it received its "independence", that country was
granted a vote at the United Nations, the World Bank, the IMF, the
World
Trade Organization, etc. In other words, the U.S. is outvoted at the
United Nations by the potential of 54 votes by all the Commonwealth
countries. Currently with regard to NAFTA, we are equal to Canada
which
is a Commonwealth nation. However, once the FTAA is put together, the
U.S. will be outvoted in our hemispheric parliament by the 13
countries
that are Commonwealth members! They countries are: Antigua, Bahamas,
Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St.
Kitts
and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent Grenadines, and Trinidad/Tobago.
How do you integrate our currency with countries that have a
parliamentary structure and which acknowledge the queen of England as
Head of State? Exactly what will history books say with regard to the
integration of the U.S. with Canada and Mexico and then the complete
integration of our hemisphere? Will they explain the evolutionary
color
of our dollar from green to various colors? Will they explain how the
integration was gradual beginning with NAFTA, then CAFTA and then the
other Latin American countries? Will they explain the devolution of
power of the national parliaments in favor of the FTAA parliament?
Will
they explain how the train and transportation systems were changed to
first link the NAFTA countries and then to link all of the Americas?
Will they talk about how Latin America had better soil to provide all
the food needed for the Americas? Will they determine that Presidents
Clinton and Bush were heroes? Will they talk about the "Old" America
and
what the Liberty Bell use to mean? Lastly, how will we answer our
grandchildren when they ask us why we allowed America to be
integrated?

imported from south and central America? Question one might ask, why
all
of a sudden all the imported inferior produce? The answer is simple.
Destroy the American farmer, which will make America dependent instead
of independent.]

guarantees. A police state is in the making to deal with resistors to
this diabolical scheme. God and the 10 commandments will slowly be
eradicated, so will homeschooling. America will revert back to
pre-Christ days of paganism. Will the cops sell their soul for a
paycheck and go against the people? You bet they will, and most of
them
(not all) will not even see anything wrong with what they're doing.]

Hi Dan1,
I can't recall if this issue is listed somewhere within the fire or not. On a personal level I have read about this issue before. Unfortunately I can't remember at present the particuler articles and language I'd read regarding this, but I do remember it left me with a darker rather than a lighter picture of this plan as a whole. I will search my brain to remember why that was and get back to you when I find it.

While there is no doubt that future generations will see a change, what change that will be is uncertain at this point. 2008 seems to be heading into a certain economic crisis here in the USA. Earth Changes will not abate either. There are many battles raging on many different levels. So fasten your seat belt and welcome to toads wild ride. lol This time we live in is more of an adrenal rush than any amusement park ride will ever achieve.

Good to see from you Sister Prairyearth. This article caught me off guard a bit, in that it indicated possible enemies of America that were somewhat "higher" and outside of the American Culture. When I brought the article here, I was thinking "the enemy of my enemies" is my friend".

I was having the notion that possibly, just possibly, the Original Peoples of this land might find allies in these new Others. But now, I have my doubts. The Original Peoples would just be used, AGAIN, to further "World Corporate Conquering Capitalist" aims. The they AGAIN would feel the darkness of being betrayed.

But I have to admit the word "friend" has to be taken in the broadest sense, (or not at all), because the threat to the "American Sovereignty", (part of the whole fiction of this culture), includes the inslavment of me as a member of the Narbarian sub-culture.

This globalization effort threatens any possible right to live as what i am, because of its extention of the conquer and rule mentality of the American "Few". I think the "Few" in America is joining forces with the "Few" in other parts of the world...in order to strengthen the grip on the lives of the "Many", (all the Peoples - Original and New).

This is even worse than I had known before. Up till now, I was only concerned with the betrayal of the "Many" by the "Few", through corporate domination WITHIN the American Fictional Culture. Within this context, I entertained hopes of being able to stop the "Few" politically through the rise and awakened consciousness of the "Many. In my mind this was a last ditch effort to help this happen. The re-birth of a Better We The People of America. A responsible people who cared enough and were not afraid to make the individual sacrifices needed to build the "Great Co-operation" that would have the power for good to turn this nation around.

Now, I see this new threat, (new to me), in two ways. It could help Us undo the corrupt power structure that We struggle against right now, but it is possibly a worse evil that We may not be able to overcome. (Though I am not sure why. I mean if one evil can be defeated, why not another?) I better watch my own fears here.

Anyway. I percieve a larger threat than before. God help me if there is an even larger one beyond that! Hmmm...I do see the possibility that the largest threat of all isn't even Human in origin...but only reacts to the terrible accumulated karma of Us.

You see dear Prairyearth. If "The Many", of the of the not yet "valid" Culture of America, can truly become a Better People with the power to change their part of the world for the better, then I see this People using their new power to make the corrections that are needed for Red Family. The restoration of land and sovereignty to the Original Peoples of Turtle Island...reparations in the form of investment in their culural strengthening for the 21st Century. The restructuring of the American Constitution to reflect a New Spirit of tolerance and Golden Rule expression for all the Other Cultures and Sub-Cultures of this wonderful land. The true beginning in sentiment and practice, as well as concept for this continent. The American Constitution rebuilt and reborn through the endorsement and support of ALL the Original Peoples Nations of this continent. A thing of mutual checks and balances, but, more importantly, of harmony between all the diverse Peoples here.

I got this thing about everyone, (who can and will), being a part of a Better World. Pretty good fantasy eh? Well...it keeps me in the strength of hope and trying anyway.

What's the Big Idea?
Part I: Dialectical Freedom

Ever wonder how American officials can use the word freedom to describe actions that eliminate freedom? Unbeknownst to most Americans, there are two vastly different definitions of what freedom means. In the U.S.A., freedom is articulated in the people's laws that govern their government. Under the original American system of law, government servants are required, by law, to "protect and maintain individual rights." That's rarely even cited anymore. The more popularly used definition is Hegel's Idea of dialectical freedom.

Georg W.F. Hegel's distinctive philosophy of history was created to oppose "the rationalist view of history, freedom, individualism, and reason, and the rationalist insistence on man's ability to control his own destiny." (1) To Hegelians, man is not born free at all. Rabid anti-American philosophers say man is born only to become a faceless member of the community. According to Hegel, human freedom can only be achieved when all individuals subject themselves to the totalitarian authority of the state. Therefore, mankind should be tricked, cajoled, pushed and/or forced, if necessary, into meeting his destiny, however reluctant he may be to the Idea. Why? Because God himself is the author.

"God is the author of the Idea; he also supplies the force which moves the Idea in history, and this force is the dialectic." (2)

When Hegel claimed the dialectic as God's special force behind all human progress, he cloaked it under the highest authority known to man. But Hegel wasn't the first philosopher to use the dialectical process (and God) to change people's religious and political beliefs. Creating fake problems and offering fake solutions is a timeless concept. Trick, divide, confuse, and conquer is another well-used, ancient rhetorical formula. It was used by infiltrators and spies assigned to "diplomatic" positions inside enemy courts.

The first stage of a dialectical conflict is when two opposing sides are pitted against each other. The sides can be real or imagined. For every dumb idea there exists an equal (if not dumber) counter-idea. Eventually they're balanced into togetherness. (How they're "balanced" is still cloaked in mystery.) The final solution does not have to follow any familiar mathematical pattern. (1 versus 2 = 12). Each solution in a dialectic may become a new theory in a new conflict. The favored dialectical set-ups continually reinvent themselves into more confusing solutions, theories, and anti-theories, until the "final" theory occurs in a form so perfectly ridiculous it gives rise to no antithesis.(3)

Hegel's version forces people to pick a side from an edited list of options, which will (hopefully) all lead to the same result. With carefully selected choices handed down for generations, the vulgar masses (4) are taught to use the dialectic against each other in everyday life. This sets up future conflicts which can be manipulated and controlled. The tool most often used to rewrite the past, it's usually explained as a new problem-reaction-solution paradigm and/or thesis versus antithesis equals synthesis.

Millions of people worldwide believe that humanity has a collective date with destiny. Christians, Muslims, Jews, and other religions have a specific view of their own role in the final spiritual awakening of Mankind. All ask their devout followers to submit their lives to the will of God. For some religions, total servitude to God's authorities on earth is also mandatory for membership. Many theologians predict there will be huge wars coming at the end of time. The Bible calls it Armageddon. According to Hegel, the wars end when every human on the planet gives up their individual freedom and bends their will to the state. Hegel described a global police state as achieving a "World Spirit."

"The progress of man toward the realization of freedom has been and will continue to be costly; wars and conflicts of all kinds, being the essence of the dialectical process, create misery for mankind. But, again, happiness is not the goal of man, the goal is freedom, and this can be accomplished only through an understanding of the process of and through subjection to the state, the material means by which the Idea progresses. As the state is necessary to the march of the World Spirit and is a means
to that end, so the individual is a means to the end of the state which serves that purpose." (5)

There are no rules or limitations on how each nation moves the Idea forward. After the USSR and China, the USA-UK-Israeli alliance is the greatest and most powerful Hegelian vehicle for change produced thus far. United nations that imprison, torture and murder people for incorrect (or individualist) thinking may appear to be led by bloodthirsty tyrants with a bizarre definition of "freedom." But to the enlightened few, they represent God's will on earth. To a Hegelian, "the end justifies the means."

The Americans' logical premise was that all men are born with certain inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The American Declaration of Independence said they "found these truths to be self-evident." Opponents of the America system disagreed. They were not convinced reason can be employed to show logical relationships. ("Human values are determined by passion or feeling." Hume) The American's federal Bill of Rights echoed state constitutional guarantees; protecting individual freedom was the only legitimate purpose for the U.S. government. As one political textbook compiled by American professors in 1964 tells us, "Hegel completely repudiated these views." (6)

Hegel said history proves that the dialectic is the only way to achieve freedom.

"When men understand that there is an Idea, that the state and its institutions constitute its temporal manifestation, and when they accept and subordinate themselves to
the state and its institutions, then they are free. This is Hegel's definition of freedom. It consists, not in freedom from the state, but in understanding and accepting
the Idea, which, in practical terms, means subordination to the state. Freedom is not exemption from authority but subjection to it. This is the ultimate realization of
freedom. Not all are capable of understanding the paradox, but the progress of history shows that more people are attaining such a capability." (7)

Like Moses and his Ten (613?) Commandments (8), Hegel's grand Idea came from none other than God himself. But, only especially trained/indoctrinated people are capable of consciously helping God to move the Idea forward -- all others will do it without knowing. "All men are instruments, but some are more active and valuable than others." (9)

There is one man alive who best represents the Hegelian paradox. This is Dr. Amitai Etzioni. Etzioni calls his Idea the "Spirit of Community." Etzioni has a very small but effective following in the United States. One of his many recent accomplishments was grading state's driver licensing agencies for compliance with the emerging National ID database. He's been advising U.S. (and other) Presidents since 1979. He's a huge supporter of merging the U.S. military with the United Nations and the European Union (he calls it, "Europe: A Beautiful Idea.") Global Communitarians have their hands in everything from the Bible Curriculum Studies Program to new laws for regulating the internet. (10)

A self-professed Fabian raised in a British kibbutz to be a Middle Eastern terrorist and a Soviet soldier, Etzioni went on to study under the famous social commentator, Martin Buber. Buber's ideas catapulted him to the head of the "new" scientific study of human societies in the 1950s. Buber based his "I and thou" theory on Hegel's Idea of Community and Talmudic Law. (11)

The mostly unfamiliar Babylonian Talmud is an ancient oral and written series of debates between Jewish Rabbis. Considered to be the world's oldest legal code in continuous existence, the complex and difficult Talmud is often defined as a dialectic.(12) For over ten centuries, Jewish and Christian scholars have searched for deeper, hidden meanings in the Old Testament and the Torah. Some of the more creative scholars use a technique called exegesis.(13) Exegesis can be used to identify similar phrases in a text and then combine the words together in a new sentence in order to make a new meaning (which partially explains why the Talmud's called a dialectic).

Agent Etzioni combined dialectical idealism, dialectical materialism, dialectical capitalism, and dialectical Zionism into one huge social theory, and in the 1980s he introduced it in upper academia as a "new idea." (14) Now it's the law of the land. Fortunately for collective mankind, Community Police were formed everywhere in the 1990s to enforce the new behavior laws, and wise judges are being trained to see beyond archaic national laws and customs. Many new courts exist around the world ready to bring on the Big Idea.

The 102nd U.S. Congress adopted the Seven Laws of Noah. (15) The Judaic Law Institute was launched in D.C. in 2002, for teaching Talmudic Law to American judges and lawyers (a move applauded by three U.S. Supreme Court Justices and President Bush). (16) The U.S. Supreme Court began using the Talmud during decisions in 2005. (17) The Sanhedrin Court was re-established in 2006; their goal is to be the mediators in all civil disputes, worldwide. (18)

The EU's Court of Communitarian Environmental Law is emerging as the model for a global regional justice system.(19) The International Criminal Court is established in Rome. (20) The International Court at the Hague, Netherlands is home to the Earth Charter, which rests in an "ark" and is referred to as "The Environmental Ten Commandments." (21) UN Local Agenda 21, the communitarian blueprint for sustainable habitat re-development, is replacing constitutional property law across America. (22)

It helps the Idea move forward a lot faster when gullible people dive headfirst into every dialectical conflict that "sounds good." (Pick a side, any side.) There's a modernized activist movement of useful idiots who passionately believe the U.S. Bill of Rights changed from a legally binding contract between free, individual citizens and their government servants into a list of UN-Hegelian Human entitlements. "To the degree that they are instruments of the Idea, they are unwitting instruments." (23)

Many U.S. politicians openly gush about how wonderful Etzioni is, like Senator Hillary Clinton in "It Takes a Village." All American parties and candidates promote Etzioni's Hegelian solutions; all wisely ignore the profound and lasting influence the Hegelian Idea has on our now formerly free country. Not even freedom-loving candidate Rep. Ron Paul will challenge the authors of the Big Idea. Perhaps it is only through an understanding of the dialectic that we can ascertain the breadth of their influence.

"A proper comprehension of the meaning of the idea can be achieved only through an understanding of the dialectic. The dialectic combines the methods of analysis and
synthesis in the study of history and makes possible a true understanding of history." (24)

Etzioni's theory of balancing individual's liberty and rebuilding a global community is so perfect it gives rise to no antithesis. Man will be led into many more violent battles before he can achieve spiritual perfection. War is the ultimate vehicle for progress. We must fight, even for no reason at all. To disagree is to challenge God's infinite wisdom.

This one was dismayed to see that Hegel had taken this turn in his philosophy as regards history. Wonder what caused that?!? What I have read of his was good and profound in its beginnings.
