2014

L’11 de setembre del 2014 farà 300 anys de l’invasió de Catalunya per part dels espanyols (amb l’ajut francès i vaticà).
Portem 300 anys de supervivència. Durant aquest 300 anys totes les iniciatives han fracassat una rera l’altra. Cap de les vies “civilitzades” de diàleg ha arribat a bon terme. Cap moviment polític representatiu de la societat catalana ha reeixit en la defensa dels nostres drets. Ara la gent diem prou. El Poble és Sobirà. Res ni ningú pot aturar la seva Voluntat.
Finalment, sembla que ha arribat el moment de reaccionar en contra de l’opressió, de l’espoli continuat, de la marginació i de l’engany al que ens sotmeten, any rere any, els diferents governs orquestrats des de Madrit. Ja n’hi ha prou de contribuir a l’estabilitat espanyola, ja n’hi ha prou de dir amen en pro d’un benestar general, ja n’hi ha prou de ser solidaris. En tot aquest temps, gràcies als fons de cohesió europeus i a l’espoli continuat dels béns catalans, els espanyols han tingut no tan sols temps de recuperar-se de la Guerra Civil que ells mateixos varen propulsar, sinó que han tingut temps, també, d’enriquir-se i situar-se en un nivell de benestar molt per damunt del català.
Parlem de llars-bressol, parlem d’infraestructures, parlem de sanitat, parlem de recursos energètics, parlem d’indústria, parlem del que vulguem parlar, Catalunya ha passat de ser capdavantera, a ser cuera. Tan sols en un aspecte encara els superem: en cultura, respecte, humanitat i solidaritat.
Però sembla que, finalment, la societat catalana és prou madura com per fer-hi front i fer-ho d’una manera comuna. Les raons? No han estat pas les identitàries ni les històriques, encara menys les de llengua o cultura: ha estat el benestar. La situació en la que ens està posant la continuada repressió econòmica duta a terme per Espanya s’ha d’acabar. Bé, tal vegada no sigui la principal raó, però és la gota que fa vessar el got.
És l'hora de mirar endavant i dir prou. D’aquest teixit divers de catalans nascuts aquí i catalans vinguts de fora, n'està emergint una nova força majoritària i desacomplexada que està conduint Catalunya vers una sola direcció: la independència.
Cada cop que Espanya ens enganya, hi ha més i més independentistes.
En poques setmanes han aparegut plataformes sobiranistes, s'han concretat projectes de renovació, s’estan aglutinant els millors cervells i els millors cors, i tots plegats estem avançant cap a la definició d’un corpus teòric i jurídic que ens permeti exercir el nostre dret a ser. Es parla de desobediència fiscal, es parla d'un referèndum sobre la Independència l’any 2014.

Tots aquests moviments representen un canvi d'actitud després de molts anys de parar l'altra galta. De la revolució tranquil•la es passa a l’activisme – per fi – i això pren la forma de la necessària i evident – cada cop per més gent – via de l’independència, un cop fracassades les vies de l'autonomisme i del federalisme.
Tenim les motivacions i les plataformes ciutadanes, tenim els intel•lectuals i els moviments polítics renovadors. I unes enquestes que confirmen la urgència: més d'un 60% dels catalans d'avui creuen insuficient l'autonomia i mes d'un 50% ja volen un Estat propi; més del 70% estan disposats a fer desobediència fiscal.

El govern de Madrit s’ha burlat de l’autonomisme i ha enviat a la paperera el text sencer de l’Estatut, no complint cap ni un dels acords allà escrits. Els polítics no se’n han sortit, perquè el joc polític té unes normes, i aquestes mateixes normes suposen un sostre baixet per a les aspiracions del Poble català. Ara, les plataformes ciutadanes (encapçalades per intel•lectuals, artistes, periodistes i gent de convicció) estiren del carro i fan feina allà on els polítics no poden arribar. És aquesta també una lliçó per als polítics: han d’aprendre que tan sols són gestors de la Voluntat del Poble, no els seus governants. Uns i altres tenim l’oportunitat de posar en pràctica una raó Universal: el Poble es Sobirà a Terra Pròpia.
Qui es podrà negar a un referèndum democràtic i que ja s'ha portat a terme a Montenegro amb l'aval de la UE i que properament es realitzarà a Escòcia? Qui podrà tancar la porta a un futur de dignitat, de llibertat i de benestar? Ningú.
Però per dur a terme qualsevol acció Sobirana (dins els termes de la Pau, la Concòrdia, l’educació democràtica i la Solidaritat, però radical i sense excuses), cal dir obertament que Catalunya té enemics: Espanya. Creure que la democràcia havia de convertir el poder de Madrit en un aliat amic ha estat una equivocació històrica enorme: ells ens voldrien nacionalment desapareguts.
Madrit no pot ser el nucli de les nostres reivindicacions. No pot ser el lloc on anem a expressar els postres Drets: qui ens els ha pres i negat no està disposat – encara – a reconèixer que en tenim. Amb l'entrada a la CEE, els interessos de Catalunya s’han de defensar a Brussel·les. A Catalunya de res no li serveix ser el motor econòmic d'Espanya.
No obstant, aquest camí emprès per la ciutadania sencera, té alguns perills.
El primer de tots és el poder econòmic empresarial, sovint més avesat a defensar els propis interessos econòmics que no pas els interessos socials. Veurem què passa quan Espanya comenci a fer boicot als productes catalans.
Segon, no hem de confondre els nostres Drets històrics amb el de cap comunitat o país. No podem permetre que se’ns confongui, se’ns compari i se’ns tracti de la mateixa manera. Es tracta d'homologar internacionalment la Sobirania del Poble Català.
Diuen que les revolucions no són dels que les inicien, sinó dels que les culminen... aquesta ens toca iniciar-la i veure-la culminada.

The next September the 11th, 2014, is the 300th anniversary of the invasion of Catalonia on the part of the Spanish troops (with the French and Vatican help).
It has been 300 years of survival. During this 300 years nightmare all the initiatives to restore our Rights have failed. The so called "civilized" ways of dialog have arrived to a dead end. No political movement of the Catalan society has succeeded in the defense of our Rights. Now the people says that "this is enough". The People are Sovereign. Nothing, nobody, can halt its Will.

By now, social claims seems to have arrived to the moment to react against the oppression, the expoliation, the exclusion and the deceit that they - the Gov from Madrid - apply upon us. We had already enough contributed to the Spanish democratic stability, we had already supported enough the oppression just to contribute to a general welfare, we had already enough been solidary. During this time, and thanks to the European cohesion funds and to the continued expoliation of the Catalan goods, the Spanish people have had enough time to recover from the Civil War that they themselves propelled (1936-1939), and since then they have enriched a lot, to a level of welfare far better than in the Catalan country.

This means: we have not enough nurseries, nor infrastructures as highways, roads, airports, electric power centrals... no good enough general health (compared with the rest of the spanish country), we have lost our own energetic resources, the industry has been transported to Madrid... a lot of economical and welfare counters in Catalonia are under the normal, whil Catalonia has passed from being a leader, to be a poor land. Anyway, we still overcome our spanish neighbours in culture, respect, humanity and solidarity.

Finally it seems that the Catalan society is mature enough to face it in a Common way. The reasons? Not the identity reasons, nor the historical ones, still less those of language or culture: it has been the welfare and the loss of our social stability agaisnt the spanish oppression. The continued economical repression carried out by Spain has to finish. It is perhaps not the main reason, but it is the drop that it makes the glass leak.

It is time to say it is enough. From this diverse tissue of Catalan People made with aboriginal ones and Catalans coming from outside, a claim is ready to born that it is driving Catalonia towards an emerging direction: the Independence.
Every time that Spain deceives us, there are more and more suporters of the independence movement.
In a few weeks, citizen platforms have turned up claiming our Sovereign Rights, and a lot of projects of renewal have been specified, the best brains and the best hearts are being agglutinated, and all together are advancing towards the definition of a theoretical and juridical corpus that allows us to exercise our Right to Be. People speak about fiscal disobedience, people speak about a referendum about the Independence in year 2014.

All these movements represent a change of attitude: the calm revolution has become an activist attittude - at last - and this takes the form of the - necessary and evident - way of the independence (it has been unsuccessful the way of the autonomism and also the way of the federalism).
We have the motivations and the civic platforms, we have the intellectuals and the political movements, and all them have includded a lot of renovators and new ideas. Some statistics confirm the urgency: more than 60% of the Catalans considere insufficient the "autonomic criteria" allowed by the spanish Gov; more than 50% of the people already want an Own State; more than 70% are ready to make fiscal disobedience.

The government of Madrid has mocked the Autonomic Gov of Catalonia and has sent the whole text of the Statute to the trash, not fulfilling any of the agreements there written. The catalan politicians have not accomplished their tasks, mainly because the political game has some rules, and these rules suppose a low horizon for the aspirations of the Catalan People. Now, the civic platforms (headed by intellectuals, artists, journalists and people of conviction) pull up the power and make work where the politicians can not arrive. Also it is a lesson for the politicians: they have to learn that they just are business agents of the Will of the People, not its rulers.
We have now the opportunity to put a Universal Law in practice: the People Is Sovereign on His Own Land.
Who will be able to refuse a democratic referendum that has already been brought in Montenegro with the guarantee of the EU and that soon will be carried out in Scotland? Who will be able to close the door in a future of dignity, of freedom and of welfare? Nobody.
But to carry out any Sovereign action (in the terms of Peace, Harmony, Democracy and Solidarity, but radical and without excuses), it is necessary to say openly that Catalonia has an enemy: Spain. To believe that the democracy had to convert the power of Madrid into a friendly ally has been a huge historical mistake: they would want us nationally missed.

Madrid can not be the kernel of our claims. It can not be the place where we go to express our Rights: who has taken our Rights in the past is not willing - still - to recognize that we have some. With the entry in the EU, the interests of Catalonia have to be defended in Brussels. Catalonia wants no more to continue to be the economical power of a oppressor Spain.

However, this path (undertaken quite by the whole citizenship in Catalonia), has some dangers.
The first one is the enterprise's interests, often more accustomed to defend their economic power than to defend social interests (interesting to observe what will happen when Spain starts to make boycott to the Catalan products).
Second, we must not to confuse our historical Rights struggle with that of any community or country. We can not allow that they confuse us with any other People nor vindication, we can not allow to be compared and treats us in the same way.
The main matter is to standardize the International Sovereignty of the Catalan People and the Catalan Country.

Some people say that the revolution does not belong to those that pioneer them, but to those that culminate them... now it corresponds to us to pioneer it and to culminate it.
