I have received Great News from our CuzToAll Willow. She is now a New Mother!
Her daughter was born at the very end of May and I have seen a picture and this is one beautiful Baby.

G'DAY!
Thank you cousins... it has kept me quiet both the waiting and these first two months but things are settling a little now. I feel very blessed to have this new person in my world -- my closest living female kin -- every day is full of new things, and not a few challenges.

our rainbow girl is already drawn to the art of her many Peoples and the music too. R Carlos Nakai, Gaelic music, didgeridu, or French ballads will all make her happy (and sleepy too when called for). it's an amazing journey being with her and watching as she grows. she has convinced me we were evolved to be tribal people, which is why it is so hard for people in nuckear families. I am lucky to have my extended tribal family who love both of us to share the adventure.

Now I am going to do a little catchup on the forums -- can't say how often I'll get to come and yarn yet, I am still convincing her it is fun watching mumma type and also this study is real cold being a wee bit of verandah that got closed in with gappy louvres. we are having a real cold winter so it's been fireside a lot of the time with her which is lovely. she also gets outside whenever we can and loves the garden, she sees the plant spirits of course.
