I feel the need for a bit lighter subject with all this dreaming! So, I have been talking with an Auntie about Native and other hair care remedies, all using MotherEarths natural herbs and plants! Has anyone got any good hair care remedies, especially for winter dry staticy hair? One from Auntie is Hemps seed oil and rosemary and Sage tea rinse to help keep your color bright! Any others would be greatly appreciated! Seedling

Olive oil is great for dry hair and skin. Rub a small amount into your hair and let it stay for a while, then shampoo and rinse as you normally would. Although I rarely take the time to do this, I know it works for many people. When my hands get dry and cracked from constantly washing, scrubbing, working, if I remember to use a little olive oil on them, it really helps...that, or make pizza from scratch, using olive oil to rub over pans and on top of dough, and your hands come out very much healed the next day. Good way to heal hands, make pizza Ha, ha.... smile.gif

Ahhh, no need to be a great cook, you can just splash a bit of olive oil on your hands and be done with it. smile.gif Although you know a rumor I heard was, that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach... ha, ha smile.gif So, learning to cook, might not be all that bad of an idea, unless you are like a friend of mine who actually could burn a pan of boiling water. unsure.gif

P.S., I went to post about the family names, and----I can't find the paper I jotted down the info on. Either I will look it up again, or find the info and get back to you. I haven't forgotten, just scattered at present. Apologies.

Hemp Oil!

I can't share this product enough! I presently have it in my hair for the same problem, and it works....though not as well as I had hoped for the skin. Mind you, it could be in the pressing method that affects the oil..

Another thought: Hymalayian Sea Salt, makes your teeth harder, your nails and hair grow, I am not kidding, seriously, my hair stalled in growth about 6 years ago. I have been eating it now off and on for the last five months, (sometimes they are sold out) and my hair has grown about three inches in the last couple months. That is huge, considering the fact that I could cut my hair into a mohawk and three months later, the shaved sides of my head would have only about a half an inch of growth. Now it has sparked the fine hairs into growing and filled in some of the fine era's in the front. I though I had my hair receding, so imagine my pleasant surprise to notice the change.

I was given a bottle of this salt to shake on food instead of the iodine table salt, which I did not like the flavour. But food just tastes better with the Hymalayian Sea Salt! You can find it in health food stores and that is the extent of my CORPORATE PROMO for the month....The GhostChild
