Hello Fire! If I may could I pick the brains of this fire, in hopes someone here may have an answere? I am a sculptor and pottery maker in my spare time, spare time right! However, I promised my late Grandfather I would try carving stone? He was an exellant stone carver and made beautiful stone statues and Pipes. My problem is, that I must admitt to my shame I did not pay much attention to the types of stone he used? Clay and crystals I know, but I am not sure what a firstimer like myself should use? Any info would be greatly appreciated along with any tips on the carving! unsure.gif Thanks, IndigoStar

Tojil, thank you so much for the info! I had no idea that the StandsOnWater was a pipe carver and what a project he has! Hopefully if he reads this he can give me a few starting tips? Yes, Malku, I agree with you! I believe that the Toltecs are the "Ancient Ones!" You are a wise one. Are any of the stone that you mentioned softer and easier for a novice to start with? I hope my Grandfather was right, he said, "that stone and carving was a part of our family that it was in our blood and being?" I guess I will find out, huh? Thank You again! Oshoenee

Tojil, I would like to clarify "Malku," forgive if you already know. It is an Andean word, that means a man who has reached the fifth level of consciousness,I meant it with the greatest of respect! thanks again for the help. Oshoenee

So many types to choose from! I guess nothing comes easy? I am curious about the blessing: "A day Of Right Brain Energy And impurity." Does it mean something specific? I was hoping that Ghostchild would have some info or pointers for me, but he hasn't posted so far as I know? A question if I may? Is it appropriate for a female to make a "Pipe?" My father doesn't seem to think it matters, what do you think? Respectfully, Oshoenee

10-Blaspheming The Three Treasures(Budda.Dharma ,Sanga)

Toj, or anyone else who wants to discuss this....what does blaspheming The Three Treasures mean exactly? In other words, I've heard similar from yesua's teachings, that the ultimate "No No" would be to blasphemy the "Holy Spirit."

Blaspheming the Three Treasures sounds like a similar situation, however, it would be great to have examples of such blasphemies for reference purposes.

Wow! I must admitt I am not as familar with these paticular teachings? I guess I have been concentrating on the Toltecs. I will have to do some research before I can get too involved in these discussions! Respectfully, Oshoenee
