As to your question about the "Dark Night of the Soul," I'm not certain which you are talking about, that is a vast area.

Speaking only for myself, the Dark Night of the Soul has always meant that space and time when the spirit is completely drained of energy, when it feels too hard to go on and there seems no reason to go on.

I suppose people who commit suicide are in such a place, but for most of us there's just something too resiliant deep inside to let us give up and we MAKE a reason to go on, no matter what. There seems to be some hidden quality that helps to get us through these trials, but I'm certainly not wise enough to know where that quality comes from or how one gets it, it just "is".

Today I went through a "Dark Night of the Soul." A real experience. I'm still kicking, but I still feel like I got the wind knocked out of me. Even so, it proves that if I can get through it, then most folks can get through it.

Oh and a note to the boys and the universities....lets keep an eye on that radio active and nuclear material out there. One never knows when an experiment might go south or Isotopes might go missing.....That is what I learned from my own Dream-time the other night.....
